I think people working in the service industries in this country have microchips voluntarily imbedded in their brains.
I mean how else do you account for their pervasive use of the phatic gesture, “And how are you today?” Or that other beaut and cheery one: “Have a nice day!”

Kids & Passion

Have you listened to a child lately, taken note as they’ve talked about their dreams and passions?
I didn’t think kids had passions, I knew they had hobbies. I’ve always associated passion with grown ups, more specifically, two grown-ups in hot pursuit of skin-on-skin activity.

New Year Boobs

I had a mammogram last week.
Yep, started out the New Year waiting anxiously in “Radiography” browsing out-of-date mags and watching a woman next to me knit. She must have been nervous too.
